Set up your CIGSOR in minutes
Your smart humidor sensor is designed for a quick and simple setup. Insert the batteries, connect CIGSOR to your 2.4 GHz WiFi network and start monitoring humidity, temperature and signal quality inside your humidor.
Important before you start
For a smooth connection, please check these requirements before setting up your CIGSOR sensor.
Requirements
2.4 GHz WiFi only
CIGSOR connects to 2.4 GHz WiFi networks. 5 GHz networks are not supported for sensor setup.
Do not use guest WiFi
Guest networks and captive portal connections are not supported. Please use your regular private WiFi network.
Use alkaline batteries only
Use 2 × LR6 AA alkaline batteries. Rechargeable batteries are not supported.
WiFi connectivity help
Check your WiFi signal
For reliable data transmission, check the WiFi signal strength at the exact place where the CIGSOR sensor is used.
The recommended minimum signal strength is -75 dBm inside the humidor.
Thick walls or multiple floors?
Concrete walls, thick floors and long distances can weaken your WiFi signal.
If the signal is too low, consider using Powerline WiFi adapters to extend a stable connection to your humidor location.
Restart and retry
If the connection fails, restart your router. Make sure your phone is connected to the same 2.4 GHz WiFi network and try the setup process again.
