My CIGSOR does not connect to WiFi

Please make sure you are using a 2.4 GHz WiFi network. Guest WiFi networks and captive portal connections are not supported. Also check the WiFi signal strength at the exact place where your CIGSOR sensor is used.

For reliable connection, the signal inside the humidor should be at least -75 dBm.

The app does not show updated values

Accepted Answer

Check the last sync time, battery status and WiFi signal in the CIGSOR app. If values are not updating, restart the app, check your WiFi connection and make sure the sensor is within signal range.

Which batteries should I use?

Use 2 × LR6 AA alkaline batteries. Rechargeable batteries are not supported.

CIGSOR requires a 2.4 GHz WiFi network. 5 GHz networks, guest WiFi and captive portal networks are not supported for sensor setup.

My WiFi signal is too weak

Accepted Answer

Thick walls, reinforced concrete, multiple floors or long distances from the router can weaken the WiFi signal. If the signal inside your humidor is too low, consider using Powerline WiFi adapters to extend a stable connection to the humidor location.

Please send us a short description of the issue. If possible, include a screenshot from the CIGSOR app, your sensor model, smartphone type and operating system version. This helps us identify and resolve the issue faster.
