Cigsor continuously keeps track of humidity levels inside your humidor.
Cigsor regularly measures humidity and temperature and sends all values to the linked app. It will automatically notify you (or someone else you may delegate) when values are outside set limits and it can even send out a pre-alert on the basis of a forecast of humidity levels in your humidor.
For the ventilation issue, Cigsor offers a timer, whose reminder interval (days) can be set by the user.
It also features statistics and a battery-state indicator.

The level of humidity at which cigars are kept has a significant effect on their taste. The cigar smokes best when about 13 percent of its weight is water. This happens when it is stored at a relative humidity of (*) 65 - 75% and a temperature between 18° - 28°C (64° - 82°F).
A consistent relative humidity of 70 - 72 % and temperature of 18° - 21°C (64° - 70°F)
are ideal for the cigars.
An optimal level of humidity results in an evenly burning cigar. Dry cigars become fragile and burn faster while damp cigars burn unevenly and take on a heavy acidic flavor.

The humidor must be regularly ventilated. It prevents mold formation and the formation of the unpleasant, musty smell. How often a humidor is to be aired is different from humidor to humidor.
